Date: Monday, March 10th, 2008 School: PS 195 Overview: We are making progress! Nanncy and Christi worked on the school's online library at their "spare time". Today we finilazed layout for each strend (now they want also SS and Science...). Links are being added. They will try to approach some teachers to get them involved. We still want it to be on small scale before we re-introduce it to the principal - "The surprise effect" the coaches want to happen, and before opening it to the whole staff.
Next Steps: (Follow-up Procedures):
*Next meeting March 24th

Goals:
Create an online resource library
Next Steps: (Follow-up Procedures):
Follow-up meeting on March 25th in the afternoon.
Date: Thursday, March 13th, 2008 Overview:
I met with Al Gonzales, the assistant principal.Since Mr. Gonzales has joined the school, they had purchased more equipment. There are 5 SmartBoards, additional carts and small simple digital cameras. The equipment is mainly stored in Mr. Gonzales’s room.A few teachers use it more regularly than others.I had explored with Mr. Gonzales our site, he is interested in the iLead offerings and had bookedmark it on his computer.I explored Protraxx with him.We discussed our Monthly meetings, he will try to send someone to our April meetings. We discussed onsite PD.He believes the school will benefit from SmartBoard training. He will speak with the principal and his teachers about this PD offering possibility. I completed the technology survey with Mr. Gonzales.
Follow up:
To follow up regarding possible PD and attending our icoach meetings.
Areas of concern:
It seemed that there is no real plan for technology integration. Teachers who are familiar with the equipment use it, others don't. The school would benefit from professional development.
